ANNOUNCEMENT/STATEMENT/PRESS RELEASE THISTLE LODGE
Heather M J L Watson
I am delighted to announce that, at last, I am in a position to publish my second novel in the Legendary Sidhe Saga, "Thistle Lodge". I wish to thank my loyal fans for their patience throughout this year. I know they have been as frustrated as me in the delay so I would like to explain why this long awaited publication date has been protracted through no fault of my own.
My completed manuscript was delivered early this year, well before the original July publication date. Unfortunately my initial publishers ceased trading and contracts were assigned to a new publisher. They delayed the July publication and decided upon 7th October. As this deadline came and went I was met with various reasons as to why the book had again not been published. Within the last week the company's situation has changed again which is unsatisfactory to me so I have decided to leave them.
The good news is that in the New Year Thistle Lodge will be available and pre-orders can be made before Christmas. The new ISBN number and release date will be announced in the next few weeks and it will also be available on e.books.

I have now signed and exchanged contracts with my US
Literary Agent. We are currently working on the editing and getting Bluebell Cottage ready for sending out to publishers.
I am still seeking representation for the UK market and will keep you informed on my progress here.

I have had an offer from a Literary Agent to represent me which is great
news as this means they'll promote the book to publishers! So fingers crossed I may get that publishing deal sooner
rather than later!

I'm still working on the publishing deal at the moment but the more fans
I have the more likely the deal will go ahead, so spread the word and join my pages on facebook and myspace!
London Book Fair - 17 April 2009
